Northshore condo caters to first-time home buyer’s needs
National Homes recently launched the Northshore complex in Burlington’s North Shore, offering an affordable option for first-time homebuyers. The eight-storey, 153-unit condo on Plains Road East features one, two, and three-bedroom units, with prices starting just under $500,000 for a 500+ sq. ft. one-bedroom unit.
Initially, the builder planned a more luxurious development, but the high costs led them to offer more reasonably priced units. The area has recently undergone revitalization, providing access to restaurants, nightlife, greenspaces, and outdoor amenities.
Units range from 470 to 546 sq. ft. for one-bedroom condos, with three-bedroom units between 882 to 998 sq. ft. The developer estimates that 70% of units will be priced under $700,000. Amenities include a fitness studio, multipurpose lounge, and rooftop terrace. Sales are expected to launch in spring or summer 2025.
