A MESSAGE TO OUR HOMEOWNERS AND OUR COMMUNITY

A MESSAGE TO OUR HOMEOWNERS AND OUR COMMUNITY

Update 2.0 – Aug 19, 2020

At National our focus has always been about community. In light of the global community facing a health crisis due to COVID-19 our community has become even larger. Therefore, the health, safety and well being of our community, our homeowners, our staff, and our trades is our priority and focus. As the cases of COVID -19 increase around the world and following our government’s message both provincially and federally to stop the spread, we have decided to implement remote operations for our staff over the following weeks.

At National Homes we have business continuity protocols in place, enabling us to carry on our day to day operations and the work we do for our customers.

For Our Bradford, The Forest Homeowners

Servicing is now complete and the utilities are in at The Forest! Things are moving quickly in Bradford and home construction will begin in early September.

You will be receiving correspondence in the next few weeks regarding design studio appointments, for which we are reviewing different options to ensure the health and safety of all involved.

We will provide further updates via email and here on our blog, as they become available.

For our Brampton, Three Rivers Homeowners

Heavy equipment is on site and servicing is now well underway at Three Rivers Claireville. We’re working steadily to finish site servicing by the end of the year.

We will provide further updates in the near future as they become available.

Corporate Philanthropy

During these stressful times, National Homes has expanded our support of local community institutions and initiatives even further.

To show our appreciation of the important work being done every day at Toronto Hospitals, our team has initiated a movement to honour front line staff and support local restaurants who have been forced to shut down. Working with Terroni, we are helping to deliver pizza to nurses, doctors, security, staff, and volunteers.

One of the most pressing problems in Ontario today is the limited availability of Personal Protective Equipment for healthcare workers. That is why National Homes has sourced, donated and delivered 2400 KN95 masks to hospitals that urgently need supplies to fight COVID-19.

To help the most vulnerable in our community, National is also providing food donations to the following homeless shelters:

  • Salvation Army in Brampton
  • The Toronto East Drop In Centre
  • Cornerstone Shelter in Oshawa
  • Blue Door Shelter in Bradford
  • And Wellington Square Church in Burlington
