Newmarket Rated as one of Canada’s Top Ten Places to Live By Matthew Pantalone
In Moneysense Magazine’s 8th Annual rating of Canada’s Best Places to Live, Newmarket made the Top Ten!
This comprehensive analysis looks at a broad spectrum of available data to determine which places offer the Best Quality of Life. Factors studied include incomes and employment, the price of housing, weather, crime rate and access to medical care including local doctor to patient ratios and access to hospitals. To capture the richness of life in each community, Moneysense gave points to communities with high numbers of people working in the arts or sports, cultural activities, even whether a community has movie theatres and easy access to airports.
